- The second voyage to Indonesia, led by Jacob van Neck and Wijbrant van Warwijck, was reasonably successful. The fleet set sail in May 1598 and arrived in Bantam towards the end of that same year. In Bantam the fleet split: four vessels sailed on to the Moluccas. They were led by Wijbrant vanWarwijck and Jacob van Heemskerck. This part of the fleet made landfall in Tuban on Java, among other places, where they were received by the local ruler. The print features the numbers A and B, with explanatory notes given above.
