The fishing village of Myleddi had its own church and school. The two were housed in the same building and for good reason: the education given at village schools was aimed at introducing the local population to the faith practised in the churches. With around 1600 members, Myleddi had a large congregation. The compilers of this database have not as yet come across a source in the literature that identifies this location as a VOC post.
