This outpost was situated some 50 kilometres north of the Cape of Good Hope. The outpost comprised a housing complex, a stable for the horses and livestock and a warehouse. Beyond the complex were extensive gardens with a fountain. In 1791 the outpost, together with its 24 slaves and 280 livestock, was sold to two Dutch brothers.
