Title Leupe: Kaart van de Plantagien tusschen 's Haagenbos, Bokkenstein en Nieuw-Java, aan beide oevers der Cottica gelegen

This map shows land of the Society of Surinam (indicated in bold font), mostly situated on the north bank (above on the map) of the Cottica river, as well as the new Texiers-Givt plantation.

The survey was done after the land of the Texiers-Givt plantation was given to Sir Bedloop by the Governor-General Bernard Texier on 2 July 1782.

The plantation turns out to measure 100 Surinamese acres (430 hectares), red dots indicates the locations of measurement.

The plot is situated between the plantations of Sir Middelhof as well as the plantations named Bokkenstein and Nieuw Java.

The plantation of W. Bedlo, which is depicted on the map VEL1878, which was produced shortly afterwards, is not visible.

The Haagenbos plantation is situated nearby.

The map was signed by the surveyor on 14 July 1782 in Paramaribo and ratified on 20 July 1682.

Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 95 ‘strepen’.
