This map shows the hinterland (A-D) of the Jagerswoud Plantation belonging to Charles Brown and located to the west of the Mot Creek.
Sir Charles Brown requested the survey after obtaining the hinterland on 19 May 1802.
The lots turn out to measure 22 Surinamese acres (9.46 hectares).
The previously united Queekhoven and Java plantations lay to the south of the lot (left on the map) and the Vriesenburg Nova and the La Gerseferance plantations as well as the Tapoeripa canal lay to the west of it (above on the map).
The original map was signed on 24 June 1802.
Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 185 ‘strepen’.
