Title Leupe: Plan van de Crappe Baay.

The battery near Krabben Bay (Crab Bay), which came about around 1750, had four pieces of cannon and was erected not on the inlet itself but on a high rocky point on the southern side. The designation Boschieter Huijs (Gunners’ House), which Serz mentions on the map, refers to the accommodation for the artillerymen. Relief is indicated.

North is upper left.

Scale-bar of 60 Rhineland Rods = [approximately 1 : 1,405].
