Title Leupe: Kaart van eenige stukken land, gelegen tusschen de Plantagen Schepmoet en Nieu Culenburg.

This map demarcates the land of Sir Gerber (red borders, indicated with the letters A-D) on the south bank (above on the map) of the Cottica river.

The survey was made on request of Sir Frederik Gerber to measure the land he bought from Sir Pieter Everhart on 13 May 1732.

The lot measures 150 Surinamese acres (65 hectares).

The lot lies to the west of the the Schepmoet plantation, of which it once was part, and east of the Nieu Culenburg plantation.

The map was signed by the surveyor on 18 December 1734 and ratified on 4 July 1736 in Paramaribo.

Scale of 100 Chains of 5 1/2 Rhineland rod= 195 ‘strepen’.
