Title Leupe: Kaart van een stuk land, gelegen tusschen de Plantagie de Goudmyn en de Cras Creecq.

This map shows the land of Mrs. van Beek (indicated with the letters A-D) on the south bank (left on the map) of the Cottica river.

Sir Cornelis Lever, the prime supervisory director of the West India Company, requested the survey after Mrs. Geertruijd Clara van Beek obtained this land on 5 January 1723 .

This piece of land turns out to measure 600 Surinamese acres (258 hectares).

The lot lies north of the De Goudmijn plantation and west of the Cras Creek.

A short description of the survey procedure is given in the notes on the left side of the map.

The map was ratified on 5 June 1723 in Paramaribo.

Scale of 120 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 220 ‘strepen’.
