Roughly on this location there was a Dutch fort called Nassau. VEL0687 (collection Nationaal Archief), refers to this former Dutch fort at the mouth of the Amazon River as Forta q. Tomamos dos Hollandezes. The exact location is unknown, due to the shifed course of the river and contradictory cartographic evidence.
