This map shows the Nieuwe Lavant plantation (indicated with the letters A-F) belonging to Sir Duselle, situated north of the Cottica River and the Kras Creek, and east of the Paramaribo Creek. -The survey was requested by Benjamin Duselle himself.

The Nieuwe Claerenbeek en Pietersburg plantations lie to the south of these lands (below on the map).

The map was signed by the land surveyor on 21 July 1734 and ratified on 4 January 1736 in Paramaribo.

Scale of 100 Chains of 5 ½ Rhineland rods= 170 ‘strepen’.
