Title Leupe: Kaart van een stuk land, zynde een gedeelte van de Plantagie Nacracabo.

This map shows a lot of the Nacracabo plantation (indicated with the letters A-D) belonging to mr. van Leeuwaarden which lays north of (above on the map) the Cottica River.

The survey was requested by J. G. van Leeuwaarden himself, after he obtained the land from the councillor Jacobus Lemmers.

The lot turns out to measure 285 Surinamese acres (122,55 hectares).

The map was signed by the land surveyor on 28 February 1735 and ratified on 25 July 1736 in Paramaribo.

Scale of 100 Chains of 66 Rhineland feet = 233 ‘strepen’.
