Title Leupe: Kaart van de scheidlinien van de Plantagie Rosenburg.

This map shows the extent of the Rosenburg plantation which is located east (right side on the map) of the Commewijne river.

The Governor-General Carel Emilius Henry de Cheusses ordered the surveyor de Lavaux to conduct the survey on request of Sir Jan van Sandick; councillor and owner of the plantation.

The borders of the plantation are all measured and indicated with letters (ABCDE), added up they turn out to measure 736 Surinamese acres (316.48 hectares).

In addition, a recently purchased piece of land is measured to the east of the Commewijne river.

This new piece of land (BFGC) turns out to measure 346 Surinamese acres (148.78 hectares)

Adjacent plantations are: Penoribo, the Goudmyn, and Levinus Berlin

The survey has been officially acknowledged on 8 November 1732.
