Title Leupe: ”Paskaart van de westkust van Marokko met stad, fort en eiland Mogador".
This map of Mogador was possibly produced in preparation of van Keulen’s De nieuwe groote lichtende zee-fakkel which was released in 1790. Otherwise they might have been produced after van Keulen was assigned as one of the three commisioners of martime cartography by the Dutch Admirality in 1787. The soundings at sea and the notations at the right side of the map allow the reader to find a way through the waterways on the coast of Mogador. The city was used as an orientation point to avoid the Reef of Feran.
North is up.
