Freuytenier, Jan / Meuse, Daniel

Title Leupe: Kaart van twee stukken land, gelegen in Para creeq, links in het opgevaren en een regts in het opgevaren.

This survey of three parcels at the Para Creek was conducted on request of their owner, Jan Mullekers. The piece of land here indicated by the letters A-D had already been surveyed by Daniel Meuse in 1705. The extent of the parcels turns out to be 2425,8 Surinamese acres (c. 1043,1 hectares). The terrain is characterized by cultivated lands, gardens, forests, swamps, trails and pastures and contain two buildings. To the north lays the Jagersburgh Plantation and to the south the Leeuwaarden one. The map was signed on 2 October 1733 and ratified on 9 March 1736.

North is upper left.
