Map of a parcel at the Corpine Creek

Title Leupe: Kaart van eenige stukken land, gelegen tusschen de Corpine en Tawaricoeroe creeken.

This survey of a parcel at the Corpine creek was requested by Sir Frederik Nieuwkerk and Elie du Bois. The extent of the lot is indicated with the letter A-D, and turns out to be 1000 Surinamese acres; that is 430 hectares. The annotation at the right side of the map tells of earlier transactions of the piece of land. The separate lands of Sir Frederik Nieuwkerk and Elie du Bois as well as Sir Pappot en Klassesoup lay to the south of the lot (below on the map). The map was signed on 24 July 1719 and ratified on 15 August 1719.
