Plan and profiles of the barracks at fort Nieuw Amsterdam

Title Leupe: "Teekening der brug over de capitaale gragt van het fortres Nieuw-Amsterdam dieselve van ter zijden en van booven te zien"

This drawing, attributed to Johann Gottfried Rabanus Böhm, represent his 1786-1787 plan to adapt the barracks on the southeastern side of the inner terrain in such a way as to obviate the need to heighten it with an extra storey; see also the original design drawn half a century earlier on VEL2033. Later this building was turned into a prison.
