In the centre is the entrance to the Chinese temple Kim Tek I or Yin-de Yuan, situated in 2002 on the Jalan Kemanganam, to the right of the centre several Chinese monks or priests are depicted.

To the right is the observatory, owned by the pastor and amateur astronomer Johan Maurits Mohr (1716-1775).
