A view of the coast with two men in the foreground. The man on the left is missing a hand and leans on a crutch, his legs encased. The man on the right wears a long coat and a type of turban. Centre right two sailing vessels are depicted and on the extreme right a fort is shown. In the background one can see a village with a castle and palm trees. The illustration shows the sorts of punishment meted out by the forces of law and order in Achin.

According to the index of 'Begin ende Voortgang' the illustration is entitled: Grouwelijcke justitie in Achin.
