This survey of parcels at the Suriname River was requested by their owner: Hendrik Huilder. The extent turns out to be 1000 Surinamese acres, that is 430 hectares. The survey was conducted on 1 June 1695, but this map was copied on 17 January 1724.
North is lower right.
Scale-bars 100 Chains of 5 1/2 Rhineland rods = 117 ‘strepen’.
