Title Leupe: Kaart van de Plantagie Vreedenburg.
This survey of the Vreedenburgh Plantation at the Para Creek was conducted on request of its owner: Madame Anna Clara Theophila van Kerchem. The extent of the plantation as a whole turns out to be 3300 Surinamese acres; that is 1419 hectares. The transactions and disputes which led to this total size are described in the annotations at the top right and the index at the top left. To the north lays the Houtthuijn Plantation and the land of Ornoribo and to the south the land of Van Boxel and Pets. The map was signed on 28 March 1730 and ratified on 8 April 1730.
