Title Leupe: Kaart van de Plantagie Langenhoop, gelegen by de Plantagien Amsterdam.

This map shows the Wayamoe plantation of Willem Bedloo (indicated with the letters A, B and H-M), north of the Perica, Heelkavink and Wajamoe creeks. -The survey was requested by Willem Bedloo himself, mainly to confirm his purchase on 8 February 1730 of 43 Surinamese acres (18,49 hectares, indicated by the letters o, P, g, and N) of land belonging to the Meulwijk plantation.

The lot turns out to measure 1146 Surinamese acres (492,78 hectares).

The Sullenburgh plantation lies to the north of the land (to the right on the map), the Severu plantation lies to its west of it (below on the map) and the Meulwijk, Schepmoet and Langenhoop plantations lie to its east (above on the map).

Earlier transactions of the depicted land are mentioned in the annotations on the right side of the map.

The map was signed by the land surveyor on 8 October 1733 and ratified on 10 December 1733 in Paramaribo.

Scale of 100 Rhineland rods = 180 ‘strepen’.
