The final fortification upstream from Fort Nassau can be seen on this plan. It is complemented with François Samuel de Veije’s plans for a tower ‘à machicoulis’ within the existing wall to be designed along the lines of the ones envisaged for Nieuw-Savonette, the Wikki Creek and the Canje.
